It's definitely exciting to find out that LEDs are moving forward as far as intensity. I don't have very much experience with LED technology, but what I've seen and found out about generally - altough great for color control - just was never bright enough for a practical application besides smaller scale work. I'm excited to see the actual products that will follow this licensing agreement between Color Kinetics and Lamina. Lamina boasts about their brightness so hopefully it's true. I can't wait to see how LED technology keeps evolving.
