I always find it fascinating to hear about operations management and the controlled chaos that goes on with it, especially at large institutions such as TAIT Towers. Many organizations are private about their inner workings, preferring that you simply trade money for their products. I found it especially interesting that the "secret sauce" of TAIT's success is the result of diverse skillsets, creative flexibility, and experience. In many industries, the white male is still disproportionately overrepresented. To see a company overtly take a position that celebrates diversity and multiple voices is something that is only just starting to hit the mainstream, and I am incredibly excited to see it become commonplace. Additionally, I appreciate the emphasis that TAIT puts on safety- They have an entire team of people dedicated to ensuring that all employees are physically safe despite the hazardous nature of the work that goes on there! In many shops, safety seems to be a secondary responsibility of someone higher in the ranks. It is definitely heartening to see an organization make safety an active endeavor.

Sam Brown is a COOL DUDE! Operations is a huge deal at TAIT. They talk and involve themselves with all different departments. Operations is crucial in a business because it connects customers with the right product. And Sam Brown has a huge amount of knowledge about a lot of different things, which is why I’m not surprised that he has the job he has. TAIT is a place that has cultivated a diverse group of skilled, creative, and flexible people. Brown talks about putting his people’s skills to good use in operations by solving complex problems and providing guaranteed reliability within all of their products. This seems to establish a really strong team who is focused on the general success of TAIT through just literally being good at what they do. Which is impressive, and also proves that Brown is an extremely successful businessman. TAIT’s is successful because they deliver strong products unparalleled by other companies but Brown has shown in this article why Operations makes TAIT better.
