L.A. ‘28 Olympics Must Outstrip Paris As Biggest TV Event Ever, OBS CEO Says
www.forbes.com: It won’t be enough to create a visual video spectacle of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics that merely equals the knockout experiences captured in Paris two years ago, said the CEO of the Olympic Broadcasting Service, which captures and distributes the world’s biggest TV event to broadcasters around the world.

While I understand trying to put on a show that people will enjoy watching, I do not get trying to outdo the Paris Olympics. The point of the Games is not about TV spectacle, it is about displaying the insane athletic talents that people from all over the world have. Trying to focus on outdoing the exhibition of last year's Games dulls down the importance and focus that should be placed on the athletes. I love the performances and art that come with the Olympics, but I think it is important to focus on what unique takes LA can bring to the Games instead of having a competition mindset with the other locations. Each Olympics gives the location the opportunity to show what is special about it, it shouldn't be a competition in that regard. Also, the thought of using AI in an event that is so human forward is unfortunately predictable, but annoying nonetheless.
