This article was super incredible and interesting to read! As a student that is currently pursing technical theatre studies and live entertainment, these advances are so intriguing. It's incredibly interesting and important to stay up to date with modern advances in technology that will be shaping the live entertainment world that I will be stepping into. These advances are also made by fellow technicians and engineers and as a fresh mind coming into the scene it goes without saying that these strides give me hope for the future of my career and the potential impact that I can make on the live entertainment community. Articles like this also demonstrate just how much more I have to learn as a student. There's so much that I have to learn about and articles like this only continue to fuel my interests and passions about the world of live entertainment as a whole.

As someone who likes music and concerts, along with the technical aspects of live entertainment, this article was pretty interesting. I have heard about LED walls and have known other professional companies that have used them, and this article allowed for more understanding about how it is developed and made up. I am currently taking a lighting class, and being able to make the connection between the qualities and the working of the wall is exciting because I am making the connection to real-life entertainment. The article also helps to make people and lighting technicians aware of the new and most innovative way these lights are being used. By keeping creatives updated with the newest tech, it also allows people to become inspired and gain ideas on how to include it in their next project. For example, the article is showing how it is being used in the sense of a concert, but technicians may be inspired to incorporate it into a dance or theatrical performance.

I found this article very interesting! What an incredible technical feat that was realized for Oasis Live ‘25. On top of the headline act’s huge reunion, the 1,100 sqm Absen Venus 4.8 mm LED wall with IMAG screens really elevated the whole experience. I found it really interesting when the article highlighted the collaboration between Universal Pixels and Brompton Technology and Disguise in order to deploy 16 4k Tessera SX40 processors, 34 XD 10G units, and four Disguise GX3 media servers. This collaboration really delivered with the high level of redundancy, color precision, and perfect synchronization that was achieved. As a design and production student, this highlights the large amount of planning and collaboration required to pull off a live event of this scale! When I have done video in the past, the hardest part has been finding high quality media. Hearing that the video director got applause for his “psychedelic artistry” inspires me to expand my horizons, when designing media.
