Universal Sends Clear AI Message: "We'll Sue You"
No Film School: “This motion picture is protected under the laws of the United States and other countries,” the warning says. “Unauthorized duplication, distribution or exhibition may result in civil liability and criminal prosecution.”

I think it’s good that studios like Universal are essentially fighting against AI in this way. I think that most artists at this point are against AI; it seems hard not to be, especially since the way it fundamentally works is by copying others. It’s just not right or fair to a lot of real artists, no matter how big or small. I’m surprised that AI companies are trying to create proper movies, but I guess sooner or later people will try using AI for anything. Most of the AI videos that I see look terrible, exactly how you would imagine an AI movie to turn out. But AI has come a long way in a very short amount of time, so maybe AI movies are going to be the new AI thing that everyone does. The justice system, like it was two years ago, is still not caught up enough to properly address the issue of AI and its plagiarism of everything. It’s interesting to see something develop so unprecedentedly fast that it seems humanity itself can’t keep up.
