Reading this article gives me high hopes for the future of live entertainment. What Creative Australia is doing is brilliant! Many people are unable to travel far lengths just to then spend even more money on the ticket itself. They are giving so much more opportunity for people to experience high-quality live entertainment in a much more accessible way. I believe that live entertainment should be experienced by everyone at some point instead of just what you see on the TV or at a movie theatre. This is especially a good way to connect to younger audiences and a great way to spark some people’s interest in live performance. But not only is this good from an audience perspective, this is very good for the production companies, cast and crew members putting on the show. It’s giving them so many more opportunities to keep doing what they love and be able to bring their works to people all over their country.
