Hearing about what these local artists are accomplishing in their communities is truly inspiring. Not just knowing that this exists, but finding similarities in their comments about their process with my own is truly inspiring. As a young artist who wants to uplift children with creativity and ideas, it is so crucial that children step into these spaces that are truly immersive and a place to foster creativity and imagination. This is something that I hope to achieve in my career among many other things.

As someone that grew up watching and participating in theater, I truly love and appreciate how much effort they put in to making such high quality productions for children. Even though many people don't believe in investing in children's theatrical productions, I truly believe that one good show can make a large impact on a child's life for the better.

Having had the chance to work with Christopher and Justin Swader these past two summers and now getting to see other works of theirs highlighted to such a degree is fantastic to see. As two true artisans and visionaries for bringing the world of a script to life through their scenic design, I’m excited to see what else comes out of this work through Treasure Island, but also in every endeavor moving forward in both the more local / regional world, but also in much larger productions moving forward. They have a keen eye for detail and set dressing unlike any other and I can only imagine the production photos for this show once it opens. Not only to see their designs come to life, but also see the amazing work of everyone behind the scenes be properly displayed and appreciated for everyone who will come to see the show and the magic it will hopefully provide.
