This article warms my heart! I think it’s so integral that we as artists acknowledge the influential artists that came before us and their legacies. And what better way to honor Olivia Newton John’s unfortunate passing than to contribute it to a charity that prevents and supports people who could fall victim to the same circumstance that led to her death. Truly an iconic figure, Olivia Newton John captivated so many with her stand out role of Sandy in Grease, as stated in the article. It’s hard for me not to think of the blonde curls, innocent demeanor and stunning leather jacket anytime I think of Sandy from Grease. I think more people should follow in Secret Cinema’s footsteps and dedicate donations to more influential performers, whether alive or passed. It is important for us all to honor one another as a theatrical community and to donate ethically, not selfishly.

This is such a brilliant thing and needs to happen so so soo much more often. Although the article was a brief, an immersive 'Grease' movie-musical sounds incredible on its own, but the fact that they are raising funds for a charity that helps people in the same situation as Olivia Newton-John. It not only honors her in such a beautiful way, but it will certainly help people educate themselves on breast cancer awareness and may help someone who is struggling with breast cancer themself relate to such an amazing figure.
