Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: If your superheroes create theater magic eight shows a week, then BroadwayCon was conjured just for you.
“If/Then” and original “Rent” star Anthony Rapp, a frequent guest artist at Pittsburgh’s City Theatre, is co-creator of the event for theater fans that has its world premiere at New York’s Midtown Hilton Hotel Jan. 22-24. The idea sprung from Melissa Anelli, co-executive director of Mischief Management, which creates gatherings associated with other fandoms — LeakyCon, for Harry Potter fans, and GeekyCon, for those “who love wearing their fandom on their sleeve.”
