TribLIVE: The 1950s changed the landscape of America. The television set came into prominence, the Cold War was at its most intense, and Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Ala.
While the waves of change were coming technologically, politically and socially, another change was in entertainment.
The Armstrong Community Theater aims to convey that change when it presents “Those Nifty Fifties” from Feb. 21 to 23.
