In a Creative Rut? Change Your Environment

Creativity is a difficult concept to study and pin down. Its interesting to think that there is a connection between brain function and environment, but it also makes sense. People draw inspiration from a variety of things, why shouldn't a place be one of them? I know that some professionals, when designing a building or a set piece will do research and even look at existing structures and places for ideas. Now that research has begun to show evidence of a connection, I'm curious to see if this will begin to affect the real world. I think it would be interesting to try and apply this concept to all levels of education and fields which are a little more rigid.
