NYTimes.com: On my last evening in London this month I got lost in Hollywood. A fantasy outpost of the American dream factory had been set up in a cavernous building next to Paddington Station and people in shorts and sunglasses were queued up outside, looking not so different from a line for a studio tour in Los Angeles.
