Dancer Injured During 'Spider-Man' Performance
NYTimes.com: Daniel Curry, a dancer in the Broadway musical “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” was seriously injured during Thursday night’s performance when part of his leg was caught in a piece of the show’s technically elaborate equipment, according to two members of the production team.

Spiderman the Musical has really made a name for itself as a show with no luck. The show suffered from delays and budget overruns, injuries, cast replacements and to top it all off received pretty bad reviews.
So obviously they had to make fun of it during the 2011 Tony Awards:

P.S. I've never seen the show, only clips of it.
I can't believe this show is still running. Despite the financial failure that it is, it continues to prove that it in no ways is a safe work environment. From talking to friends in New York I've heard that going to see the show now is almost like seeing NASCAR, waiting for something to go wrong.
