Oscar-Nominated Director Benh Zeitlin on Not Waiting For Permission
Articles :: 99U: Rather than seeing himself as a godlike director-figure who controls all the shots, he works within a collective form of filmmaking, a group of artists called Court 13, where everyone has creative input into the final product. The 30-year-old writer, director and composer of Beasts of the Southern Wild shows just what kind of amazing filmmaking can result when you turn the system on its head.
