J-O-B LIghting Supervisor
Bard | Employment Opportunities: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Lighting Supervisor oversees and fulfills the lighting and electrical needs of all programs and projects taking place in or produced by the Center. The Lighting Supervisor fulfills the role of Master Electrician in the Center, serves as Lighting Designer for any event not having its own designer, and acts as light board operator to fulfill programming and show run needs. The Lighting Supervisor supervises student workers and professional seasonal and hourly overhire crewmembers. Working closely with other members of the Center's production team, the Lighting Supervisor ensures a safe backstage working environment, provides training and mentorship to students, and provides high quality production support to all programs and projects in the Center.
