FOH online: Outline S.r.l. and its U.S. subsidiary, Outline North America, have entered into a strategic alliance with Production Resource Group, one of the largest production services companies in North America. This new alliance centers on the hub of PRG’s touring sound business in Las Vegas, where a full turnkey system of Outline GTO, GTO-Subs, Butterfly, Mantas, DBS18-2 Subs and recently introduced LipFill-0182 will be available for use on PRG’s most demanding productions and tours.

Sound and front of house support are mostly foreign to me. I do know a little bit about PRG. At first I was confused as to what the relationship between these two companies was - the video is mostly a description of the new Outline GTO arrays and subs. He doesn't talk about the the relationship until much later when he describes how much Outline gear PRG will be adding to their inventory, I'm assuming for specific tours and events. On the surface looks like a good deal for Outline, their gear will be seen on large events that might have been difficult to acquire on their own. But I wonder what PRG is getting out of all this? He says in the video the GTO line is less than a year old and has only been branded very recently. Sounds like PRG is taking on brand new gear - might be a risky investment. But if the GTOs perform well, this could be a partnership that will give other audio companies a run for their money.
When I first heard about this I was very surprised that PRG did not have a partnership like this before with a speaker company. I wonder if PRG is going to do all the business that Outline will have or will Outline counter to work without PRG side companies. I hope that Outline will not get consumed by PRG and become the sound company that you have for PRG and rent there gear if you want to use it. I know that a some of companies have made there gear only available through PRG or PRG has developed gear that you can get only from them. I feel that you should be able to compare prices with a lot of places so you can get the best deal but when you can only get it at one place they can charge whatever they want.
