Messengers get their day in Greensburg Civic Theatre comedy
TribLIVE: In the last scene of Shakespeare’s tragedy, “Hamlet,” it is proclaimed that “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are dead.”
But are they really? Obviously not. In Greensburg Civic Theatre’s production of Tom Stoppard’s comedy “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead,” the two minor characters in Shakespeare’s play are stars of the show.
Stoppard’s story picks up where the Bard leaves off.
