I wondered if this video is Joe Pino approved? I assume that it is. It seemed to correspond to many of his lectures that he gave in Production Audio. This video could have used a reference to Bell Labs. The music industry has allowed technology to drive the creativity more than any other art form. The concept of a single or a B-side or even an album is being lost on today’s consumers. In 5 years I wonder if artists will even produce cd’s or albums. I loved the line in this video where the host states the in the 80’s, with the advent of digital editing, the consumer became the producer. And now we have anyone who owns a mandolin on YouTube.
