Three new plays round out lineup for City Theatre's next season
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: City Theatre has filled out its six-play 2012-13 season with three more new plays, including one by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, a writer for Marvel comic books and the TV series "Glee" and "Big Love," plus the script doctor for Broadway's "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark." The just-added plays for City's 38th season are the opener "Maple and Vine," a provocative 1950s fantasy by Jordan Harrison; "Little Gem," an uplifting Irish comedy by Elaine Murphy; and "Abigail/1702," an imaginative account of an accuser in the Salem witch trials by Mr. Aguirre-Sacasa.
