PLSN Announces LDI2011 Student Reporter Search
iSquint.net: PLSN Magazine with sponsorship by CHAUVET, is in search for a PLSN Student Reporter for the 2011 LDI Show in Orlando Florida. One student will be chosen to attend the 2011 LDI Trade Show and cover the floor. The PLSN Student Reporter will be on the floor each day of the show providing video interviews, product demonstrations, updating the industry of news and happenings around the event.

This is a really neat idea and could be a really cool experience, it just would have been nice to have held the search over the summer. By holding it so late entries are confined to only students who are already planning to attend or can get off the mid-semester week. I assume fewer students fall into the second category on such short notice as two weeks (from when the student reporter will be announced on 7 Oct. to LDI on 23 Oct.). If you are already planning on going, this seems like a great way to experience LDI and get a little more out of it than other students.
