PLASA 2011 – Show Report
On Stage Lighting: Armed with nothing but a well worn pair of shoes and four days supply of anti-migraine pills, On Stage Lighting hits Earl’s Court in London for the 2011 assault on the senses that is the PLASA show.
This seems to be a pretty good overview of PLASA 2011. It would have been great to get to go. I enjoyed reading about the new advances in LED lighting and wirless DMX control, and I thought it interesting how the author noticed that there were lots of LED fixtures and not too many conventional fixtures anymore at the show. The fact that they had point source LED fixures is neat too. I would like to see one in real life. I think the author spent a little too much time complaining about bright lighting though. I mean PLASA is lighting and sound expo...
