Whitehall native filmed TV pilot 'Munhall' in his own hometown

Post Gazette: "Anyone with a digital video camera can make a pilot episode of a proposed television series relatively inexpensively. But the odds are stacked against such an indie production ever making it onto a broadcast or cable network schedule. Then again, the odds for network-commissioned pilots making it on the air and surviving aren't high either."

The trailer for Munhall makes it look like it could be an interesting show. I look forward to seeing it someday if it gets picked up. There's the Pittsburgh geographic connection (and presumably filming locations once it goes into production), the Pittsburgh actors (I noticed Tom Atkins in the trailer), and then theater production being a somewhat important element - what more could a Pittsburgh theater tech ask for in a series other than a TV and cable on which to watch it?
