This is very similar to the interviewing article. It makes a HUGE difference when employers are actually able to meet and speak with the individuals they are looking to hire in person. USITT is a big deal, it is critical when people are hiring, that you give them the right vibe, and that you can mesh well with their company. Although it is impractical for many college students to attend USITT and other "job fairs", it is an opportunity that will greatly benefit your standing as an applicant.
