South Coast Repertory is seeking new artistic director
latimes.com: "South Coast Repertory announced Thursday that it aims to name a new artistic director in time for the season that begins in September, succeeding artistic director Martin Benson and producing artistic director David Emmes, the co-founders who have led the acclaimed Costa Mesa theater since 1964."

I wonder how much the season selections might change with the introduction of a new person. From my understanding, SCR has had a pretty set audience base and carries a certain level of production that people are use to. If a new person comes in, would the pressure of upholding their standards continue, or would it be open to a little change?
