Film Crew Looking For More Team Memebers

Craigslist: "We get alot of projects coming our way and need to add more people to our database for the 2010 season. Currently we film Heat nightclubs Reality TV Show Heatpgh.com and this summer we start filming the Yes Girl sequel Yesgirlmovie.com
You may have heard of Yes Girl, it made 2 news tv stations, almost all Pittsburgh news papers and is still being talked about ."

Looks like an interesting job. The yesgirlmovie.com website is very ridiculous but I explored it a little anyway. Contacted the group, and they are filming May - July, so if anyone is in Pittsburgh and want to work on a movie, they are looking for you!

I like this ad actually. Is very descriptive, and is looking for people with an without experience. Considering I have to pay rent for my house over the summer, I plan on sending in my resume. I know it may not be a big studio or company, but everyone has to start somewhere, and this could be a good chance for networking.

I think that in today's world and the means of communication, advertisements are crucial. But in the mass communication, ads can get lost in a see of ads. Places like craigslist allow for specified searches for the given product. I like the idea of having direct contact and communication with the buyer/seller.

It's interesting to find job ads on craigslist because there's a certain degree of trust that you have on more professional websites that you don't inherently have on craigslist. It's hard to trust these ads, although it's a little more personal than most websites will get. In some ways, I would prefer this type of posting because of the informal nature and the assumptions you can make when a company uses this venue as advertisement for a position. It really speaks to the type of person they're looking for and the general audience they're expecting.
