Does the FCC Know Churches Exist?
Church Production Magazine: "The short answer is yes, the FCC knows the church market exists, but the extent to which churches rely on wireless communications (microphones, monitors, inter-coms etc) is something FCC administrators in Washington may not completely grasp."

I wonder if the point of this survey/article is more to see how many churches are still using equipment in the old VHF band. I'm sure there's more than just a handful of organizations (not specifically churches) using the outdated gear in the now illegal for analog band. When WiMax gets its hands on the VHF range, it'll be obvious who those people are - they'll be getting a lot of static and 'digital' noise in their receivers.
