Alumnus shares his advice on networking and looking for jobs
The Tartan Online: "With the Employment Opportunities Conference (EOC) taking place this week, getting a full-time job or internship is one of the first things on many students’ minds. Although they might be nervous about finding a job that they really enjoy, they do have many successful alumni to look to for advice on their job search. These alumni can be a great resource and their stories can provide both encouragement and support to the students."

Although this article pertained to the business school rather than the drama school, it holds true for every field. Networking is essential to any profession. The author was right in saying that it is important to make sure to get the right internships and employments even during school, because the benefits pay off when looking for a job after graduating.
Although the prospect of interning every summer and having no break from school and work, if one is dedicated to one's career, there isn't much of a choice.
