BELIEVE Gala Premiere Tonight!
Fascination! Newsletter: "Halloween is particularly significant for CRISS ANGEL Believe as it marks the anniversary of the passing of legendary magician and escape artist, Harry Houdini. In an attempt to pay homage to the late/great Harry Houdini, Criss chose “Believe” as the title for this unprecedented live experience."

i was very shocked the first time i saw the ads for this show and how the work lie is emphasized in the title of the show "beLIEve." i thought that it was a very bold statement for the show to take because it seems to me they are admitting that it is not magic, but all lies. for a magic show to admit in their ad that it is all lies seems a little funny to me. i would think they would want to at least encourage the idea of magic.
