Prague Quadrennial

The USITT-USA Exhibit Committee is organizing the exhibits to represent the USA at the next Prague Quadrennial in June 2011, and to tour museums, galleries, and universities around the USA from September 2011 through December 2012.

The committee is looking for additional members and encourages interested individuals to apply no later than September 15. We are especially interested in filling the following positions:

  • Exhibit Tour Director: determine target destinations, write proposals to submit to museums, galleries and universities, funding applications

  • Exhibit Tour Manager: Work with Tour Director to coordinate bookings, arrange for transportation, insurance, contracts, etc.

  • Student Exhibit Mentor: lead a team of students in the design and curation of the Schools of Scenography Exhibit. (Note that students of the mentor may not have their work included in the exhibit, yet they may work on it)

  • National Exhibit Designer: design National Exhibit for the Prague Quadrennial, which can be flexible to install in a variety of spaces on the USA tour

  • Videographer: design and edit video component of the exhibit, including production materials and interviews

To apply for these or any of the other positions on this committee, please send a request for an application to me at abonds@uoregon.edu. If you have already submitted an application and would like to add any of these positions to your file, please send this information to me as well at abonds@uoregon.edu.

Thank you for your consideration.
