1949 Show Is Timely for 2008

New York Times: "YOUR copy of the world atlas may not indicate so, but the route from the South Pacific to Broadway passes directly through Connecticut. This has been the case ever since the spring of 1949 and the New Haven tryouts of the musical that became a classic. Or well before that, when Richard Rodgers composed the score of “South Pacific” at his Fairfield home. And even now, a few days after its first Broadway revival opened, the Nutmeg state retains a key role."
