Hollywood engine on idle as strike winds down
Reuters: "Labor peace returned to Hollywood on Monday, but the town's production machine remained at a low idle ahead of a vote by striking film and TV writers on whether to return to work after a three-month clash with major studios."

I think what will be interesting to see is the aftermath of the strike. Will shows be up and running soon that were previously on haitus? Will all writers go back to work? A lot is still up in the air.
Even though the writers are pretty much done striking and about to go back to work the shows will now be up and running right away. There are things that have to be worked out after the writers just got up and walked out. It will take time but once this strike is really put behind everone then things will come back. There also might be shows that are unable to come back. Maybe shows that were in the making and this delay just cost up everything and took the possiblity away from them.
I am glad that the strike is finally over. It is good that the WGA was able to negotiate and try to get what they wanted. It will be interesting to see how long it will take for some of the shows to go back into full production. Late night shows, Like Conan, have been going for some time now without writers. I was enjoying the writer-less shows and it will be interesting to see how the show turns out one things get back into action.
