Intimacy coordinators' next chapter

Intimacy direction having a surge of people interested in it has been a really interesting thing to watch. I know plenty of people who have taken classes in it and have decided that that is what they want to do. Some of these people I really trust with intimacy and the actors’ comfort/boundaries, but there are a few that I, honestly, do not really trust with it. I had a conversation with one of my friends who has been involved in the intimacy direction world and I trust to respect actors' comfort/boundaries. He was talking about how “every intimate story is a consent story, even if it's not about that” which was something I had not thought about before. A big reason I trust him with intimacy coordination is also because of this quote that he said “I think so much of this work is meeting people where they're at and seeing what they need and meeting that with care and intention and curiosity.” which is something that I think more people need to integrate into their everyday lives (meeting people’s needs with care, intention, and curiosity).
