It is very sad that in the aftermath of Halyna Hutchins death she was lost in the narrative that most people heard. The vast majority of the public was concerned with Alec Baldwin, and who was at fault for the tragedy, and no one really stopped to think about the person that was actually killed in the incident. This whole situation made me realize why safety concerning weapons on set is so important to be done right, because one small mistake can lead to people getting killed when that is never the intention of anyone on a movie, or any other set. The whole point of entertainment in some ways is to do dangerous things safely. It's like a roller coaster, no one would ride them if the threat of getting maimed was significant. It takes away all the thrill of the ride if you're straight up terrified you're going to die because the people working on the ride did not put in the correct checks to make sure everyone stays safe.
