Made In PGH: Enjoy a night of music, art, earth-friendly fashion and plant-forward bites set against the backdrop of beautiful botanicals by attending La Fleur at Phipps on Thursday, April 3rd. This strolling event will take place throughout eight rooms of Phipps’ historic glasshouse including the Broderie Room, the Palm Court and the South Conservatory.

This event looks like so much fun, I am sad that it is not till april 3rd. I am always looking for things to get me out and moving that are not school related and that can be really hard when there is always so much to do. Especially since things tend to be at least a decent distance away from campus making it harder to do things as it not only requires planning of the event but also planning of transportation and timing. It can be hard to be spontaneous when there are so many demands on my schedule and an added layer to that is transportation. That being said, phipps is nothing more than a short jaunt behind Porter/baker? (Or whatever that building is that is Purnell.) So I am very excited to learn of an event that is close that I can plan to be in attendance for.
