Lighting&Sound America Online - News: When it comes to screen size for live sports, bigger is always better! I have always had a soft spot in my heart for obnoxiously large televisions. This obsession can absolutely be traced back to my father but I really can not help myself when it comes to big flashy TVs, especially in a sports bar. This article really hit it on the head when they said “when it comes to screen size for live sports, bigger is always better.” I have friends that would keep up with whatever the game at the time was being played on their phones and personally, the desire was lost because it is not the same sensation of yelling at the TV in the restaurant or at home. The 5.4m by 2m size of this vuepix screen is absolutely insane but I really must applaud the 1st on Wharf Tavern for not taking the easy way out and just install a projector and screen. While projection technology has come a long way in a short amount of time, I really think patrons of the tavern will enjoy the experience of watching the game on this incredible piece of technology.
