Entertainment Changes Coming at Walt Disney World

www.themeparkinsider.com: First the good news for fans: Disney is bringing back the For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration show, starting October 5. It's part of the return of live musical shows to the resort, following both Disney's agreement with the Actors’ Equity Association union that represents stage performers at the resort as well as increased attendance at the parks.

It is such an exciting news to hear that the “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration show” is going to be done at the resort. A part of the company’s return to live musical shows, this is the one show that I have been super excited about, mainly because of how good Frozen is as a film. To have a live musical version of the show, combined with effects to emulate the film in some sense, I can only imagine the work that must have been put in in order to create something that does not let the fans of the franchise down. Of course, with the pandemic still there, it is scary to think about being in a heavily crowded place, but hopefully Disney has made the required adjustments in order to make sure that the general health of the audiences and the personnel are not jeopardized.

Sue me… is Disney really the most important thing right now? I oftentimes will be scrolling my Tik Tok FYP, or my timeline on Twitter and I will see current pictures of groups of young people at Disneyland and Disneyworld, hanging out without a care in the world. (Oftentimes unmasked.) Obviously for the people who are still interested in indulging in theme parks amidst this pandemic don’t actually care about the safety of others or the world. Giving even more of a reason to bring these moths to a flame is beyond me. I guess, corporations being safe and coming up with alternative modes of entertainment can’t be a bad thing…

Disney World though… I’ve never been, and I obviously won’t be going for a long time. At least they’re trying! The bar is so incredibly low now-a-days, there’s not much else I can say in positively about any large corporation.
