ALD Launches Sponsored Student Scheme

ETNow.com: The ALD, for people in performance lighting, has announced that applications for its perennially popular Sponsored Student Scheme for the year 2021 are open, and that also running alongside the scheme, for the month of September only, is a promotion targeted at the other individual membership categories, for discounted subscription rates for the rest of the membership year to March 2021.

Reading this article, I think it is wonderful that architectural lighting designs are offering applications for Sponsored Student Schemes and also offering discounted and even possibly free memberships. During this time of the pandemic, many people are bored and many companies are offering similar deals so people can fuel their curiosity or try something new. This is allowing opportunities for creative minds waiting for an opportunity to arise. Additionally giving members exclusive offers to free magazines and other outlets in the field will benefit ALD as well. Not only are they gaining new members and giving opportunities to future lighting designers, but they are also building their company as well. They are definitely looking at the future of their company after the pandemic, where hopefully they will have caught enough new interest to keep their community growing and thriving. Especially with student memberships, they are investing in future employees and lighting designers.
