www.toolstop.co.uk: There are times on the jobsite when our task demands a tool that'll handle pretty much anything we throw at it. But one tool that can be a bit fussy when it comes to this. Mitre saws.
Why?
Usually because of the blade. Some mitre saws come with all sorts of fancy features, advanced dust extraction ports, specialised motors and more. However, they'll only cut one type of material. Wood. And that's because the blade fitted to it is only designed to cut wood.

The Idea of an all-in-one multipurpose tool is very useful. I can’t tell you the amount of times that I’ve been in a situation and either have had to change the blade on a tool, or go find a new tool all together. I've seen several tools that claim they can do everything that this product can do, but when it comes time to use it, the product has typically lacked performance. Either the blade feels like it is burning through that material or the motor in the tool has a lot of strain being put on it. The amount of time that would be saved by being able to cut through several materials with a single blade is very appealing. Another very appealing feature is the fact the product is packaged with a blade. This allows you to take the tool right out of the box and begin using it without having to locate and purchase blades independently. The number of times I have opened a box to find out I need to buy more accessories is too numerous to recall. Having a tool in the bag that can efficiently and productively do all the things listed would be amazing. I would be sold on that idea.
