BUSINESSWEEKLY: When The Rolling Stones or Maroon 5 hit the road, their production crews have spent months practicing, making sure the lighting's just right, the special effects are perfect, along with the staging, video, pyro and all the theatrics that wow the audience.
Bands used to start tours in smaller towns to work out the kinks on the road.
Today, anyone can take a video and post it online, so that first show has to be perfect.
The question is how to do it. And a couple of Lancaster County music business powerhouses have a solution.

I had no idea that a project like this was even in the works. One of the things i like most about being at carnegie mellon, at least in the theater here, is the attitude that if you have a question, and would like to ask one of the experts in the field; that all you have to is walk down the hall. This is usually only the case in educational settings, or to a small extent in very large theaters. The idea of creating something that could expand into a hub of of entertainment activity is very exciting.
I believe "hall conversations" can be some of the most fruitful moments of collaboration. Putting all these talented people in one space is incredible. This sounds like an extremely exciting place to work and their range of high profile clients will give them the exposure to make an idea like this a viable reality.
