ooooh I like this concept. It opens up such a crazy and cool world of possibilities! I hope it is full of illusions and visual tricks. I looked up the costume designer, Philippe Guillotel, and his work is awesome. He approaches dressing the human body with a really unique perspective, messing with form and proportion. I was looking for a website of his portfolio, but I couldn't find one. Instead here's a link to another Cirque he designed, Love. Or just google image search his name! http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/love/show/characters.aspx
It always surprises me how creative the Cirque team can be. I know that seems kind of silly to say, since all art is about creativity, but they manage to take subjects that are quite out there, and turn them into their world famous performance/gymnastic/technical art piece. I think this particular theme of "reality is relative" perfectly fits in with Cirques M.O. I personally have only seen one Cirque Piece (Totem), but with my knowledge of that and other Cirque pieces, I think that what Cirque does is blend the line that represents reality. This is apparent both in their mind boggling acrobatics and their strange and wonderful costumes, and their technology (*ahem* Ka). Because of that, I think Kurios will be an amazing show.
