This would be an interesting position to apply for. It would definitely be a lot of work to start up a new building and get everything working properly. But it would be a fun challenge to those interested in it. I'm interested in where someone could get more information about the facility aspects of building usage. There are lots of abbreviations in that job posting that I've heard of, but I'm not 100% sure of what it is. It would also be interesting to know and look into the differences in a Jazz venue and a theatrical venue.
This position seems like it combines many skills from fields that we would consider to be different. Not only are you managing a facility, you must also be able to implement and create many different plans from lower level maintenance to long term full scale procedures. Starting up and maintaining a facility will take time, it will also take a lot of forethought and planning into ensuring that your future needs will be met. It would be nice to know what makes this facility much more complex than others and how it plays into being trained in the areas they listed.
