Michael Jackson ONE: Cirque refinds its way
www.cirquefascination.com: On June 29, the top executives of the Montreal-based Cirque du Soleil were here at the theater inside the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, sitting alongside the likes of Justin Bieber, Spike Lee & Neil Patrick Harris, celebrating the opening of “Michael Jackson ONE,” the latest Cirque creation, designed as an evocation of the music & spirit of the late King of Pop.

Its amazing, these cirque shows, and how they can have such a strong effect on people. I saw Love a month or two ago and I can remember the whole shoe vividly, because it was so spectacular and it really made an impression me, partly because of the Beatles' fame. In that sense, this cirque show may attempt to do the same thing, honor the great musical genius by the best means that they know how, the stage, and hopefully it will not end up like the Elvis show, which I had never even heard of before.
