CMU makes list of top 20 most-expensive colleges

Pittsburgh Business Times: Carnegie Mellon University is listed by Business Insider as among the 20 most expensive colleges. Business Insider ranked the top 20 schools by not only tuition and fees but also room and board and found CMU's $59,632 a year puts it at No. 13 in the U.S. That's lower than the Department of Education survey that ranked it No. 6 among the highest tuitions in the country.
