16+ Essential Skills Freelancers Really Need to Succeed
FreelanceFolder: If you are going to succeed as a freelancer, you’ll need more than one skill set.
Naturally, if you’re a freelance web designer, you need good design skills. If you’re a freelance writer, you need good writing skills. If you’re a freelance programmer, you need to be good at programming.
But that’s not all there is. Successful freelancing requires more than a single skill set. Freelancers and would-be freelancers must be competent in many areas.

This is a really helpful article if you are a freelance artist or want to be one! All of these skills, are not only good for freelancers but for everyone. It also allows for you to look at what other skills you might have forgotten, or just generally need to improve upon. While freelancers tend to be solitary people, they need social skills in order to spread their business and promote themselves. While being a freelancer is a difficult job they become attracted to other freelancers and working together with other people is a key skill that everyone should have no matter what job you have. I really liked this article, because they explain that while this may be the skill set for freelancers, it is also the skills you need to have in any other job.
