backstage.com: On Wednesday, Aug. 29, the American Theatre Wing announced the 10 recipients of the 2012 National Theatre Company Grant program. The winners represent a diverse group of theater companies from across the country, including the New York City-based The Play Company, and CityRep from Oklahoma City, Okla. Each organization was awarded $10,000.

I think it's great that people are out there to support the arts. Part of the reason is that often times, especially for a lot of students, the arts get a bad rap. But this proves that people out there care enough about the arts to give over $3mil.
