Queen's Jubilee Kicks Off With Concert And Buckingham Palace Projections
livedesignonline.com: To celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, a concert in front of Buckingham Palace in London included Kylie, Robbie Williams, Stevie Wonder, Sir Elton John, Madness, and Sir Paul McCartney performing on a crown-shaped stage built around the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of the Palace. Show designer Durham Marenghi and projection producer Sam Pattinson of Treatment Studio worked with a video setup for the palace projections supplied by XL Video UK, including a d3 visual production suite and 36 Barco HD 20K projectors. Palace architectural lighting was by Neg Earth.
