New PNC Broadway season gets into the act with 'Mormon,' others

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Paul Organisak believes the 2012-2013 PNC Broadway Across America -- Pittsburgh series represents the best of what's available on Broadway. Five of seven shows in the 2012-13 subscriber series are still playing on Broadway. They include the 2011 Tony award-winners for Best Musical, "The Book of Mormon"; Best Play, "War Horse"; and Best Revival of a Musical, "Anything Goes," as well as the musicals "Sister Act" and "Priscilla Queen of the Desert." Also among the series' presentations are the national tour premiere of "Flashdance" and the 25th anniversary production of "Les Miserables." Two of the four non-subscription shows making return visits also continue to draw audiences on Broadway-- "Jersey Boys" and "Mary Poppins." The remaining two non-subscriber attractions are "Stomp" and Green Day's "American Idiot."

WAR HORSE!! I can't wait till this comes to Pittsburgh. I have been dying to see this show since I first heard about it opening on Broadway. To have the opportunity to see this show while it is still on is amazing. Not only that, but Book of Mormon too!! This is crazy, people. I love that these two shows are complete opposites, yet loved by all who see them, and both are coming to Pitt. So excited!
