I'm so excited for this production! I really hope I'm home for break during the run. There are many similiarities that can be drawn between this production and their production of Cabaret in Fall 2010. I've been involved in a production of Pippin with a female Leading Player, and I think that the potential shift in dynamic between Pippin and the Leading Player that this provides for will be super interesting! I had a similar feeling about Cabaret, which I was unfortunately unable to see, and felt that having a female MC performed much the same function.
