I think the competition between NY and LA are a good thing for the long run. I think that it will lead to an overall growth in productions in both cities. This will in turn create more production, designing, acting, and directing opportunities. And considering where the job market is now, we can only hope that this increase will be happening in these next few years as we all graduate and go out into the world.
