I wish i had read this earlier than today, i would have tried to go to see some of these readings! The film factory festival looks like it may produce some incredible, creative work, and this first step will be important for that. I wonder why we weren't really told that this was going on at CMU. It would be interesting in another sense- how does film translate to the stage. And how can film scripts be examined for story. I've learned that film needs to have just as strong a story as theater pieces- the actual act of filming shouldn't be what carries the piece. This exercise ensures that.
